Church on blood in the name of All Saints resplendent in the Russian Land in Ekaterinburg

The Church consecrated in 2003 on the place of death of the family of the last Russian Emperor Nicholas II. One of the biggest temples in Ekaterinburg, a place of pilgrimage for the faithful from all over Russia, was built from 2000 to 2003, at the place of execution of the Royal family, which occurred in the night of 16 to 17 July 1918.

This is the third in Russia, the temple-on-blood. First built in Uglich on the place of murdering of Prince Dmitry, the second - in St. Petersburg on the site of the murder of Emperor Alexander II. The Church was erected on the place where until 1977 stood infamous house of engineer Ipatiev, which was tragically cut short the life of the last Russian Emperor Nicholas II, his wife Alexandra Fedorovna, their daughters Tatiana, Maria, Olga, Anastasia and son Alexei, the court physician Botkin, the footman Troupe, maid Demidova, cook Kharitonov. 60-meter high Cathedral in Russian and Byzantine style consists of two parts.

The upper temple was consecrated in the name of All Saints resplendent in the Russian Land, the lower temple in the name of Saint Regal Martyrs. In the basement of the temple there is a memorial room.
