The Museum of history and art in Kostino

The Museum is rich in items of peasant life and applied art. There is no equal Museum of Sverdlovsk region having the original exposition of indoor plants, both in the Museum of history and art. The Museum hosts calendar-ritual holidays of folk calendar: Christmas and the Christmas celebrations, meeting of Maslenitsa (with horse riding, games and hot pancakes), Kapustinskiye gatherings (tea with cabbage pies), the Light of Christ Sunday, Pentecost (the feast of Russian birches, "funeral" of flies and mosquitoes), Ivan Kupala and many others.
