City pond Kalachik in Verkhoturye

Previously one of the most beautiful attractions of the city. In the XVII century river Kalachik was in charge of property of male Nikolaev monastery and it was built the first monastic whorled mill, and later rebuilt in watermill with two millstones. Today the pond in a derelict state, but by its position (at the entrance to the city) remains a promising target for construction and further use as objects of tourist show.

How to get: distance from Ekaterinburg to Verkhoturye is 300 km

By bus № 601 from North bus station, journey time of 4.5 hours.

By train №337E, 343E Ekaterinburg-Priobye, to the station of Verkhoturye. Journey time of 5.5 - 6.5 hours.
