The Church In the name of icon of Kazan Mother of God inKarpinskwas built in 1841 by the parishioners with the assistance of mining engineer M.I. Protasov.

The architecture of the Church is sustained in the shapes of late classicism. The ceiling of the Church is made of wood, the building is on a brick Foundation and was repeatedly subjected to various reconstructions. The Church iconostasis is unique, it was painted by the Italian masters or followers of their school, and besides, it is a mini-copy of the iconostasis of the Kazan Cathedral in St. Petersburg.

Special attention should be paid to the Church cemetery-some old graves have been preserved there to present day. Among the preserved remarkable tomb of doctor of medicine I.I. Belavin and Director of the Nadezhdinskiy steel-rail plant of K.N. Prahov. Both lived in the village Bogoslovsk in the late 19th century and was very famous people.
