The Holy Trinity Temple in Aramil

In the early nineteenth century, in Aramil's Sloboda it was decided to build a stone three-altar Church in honour of the Holy Trinity. Construction began in 1830.After eight years in the chapel in honour of the Nativity of the MostHoly mother of God began regular services. In 1842-the year the main alta. was consecrated. The third, a Prophet-Iliinsky chapel - in 1852 year.

In 1937 the Church was closed by the Bolsheviks and partially destroyed - the bell tower was demolished and disfigured the Western facade. In the years of Soviet power the building was occupied by offices and a shop. Cemetery fence disappeared, the cemetery was ruined. In the Church territory there are many additional buildings.

In 1990, the Church was returned to the believers. Returned in a dilapidated condition: the first services were held in the vestibule. And after eight years when the Nativity of virgin Mary chapel was restored , people have the opportunity to perform divine services in the Central part of the Church. First, there was arranged a temporary altar. And in 2001 a permanent.

To this day the services are held in this chapel, and the main altar in honor of the Holy Trinity is being prepared for restoration. In the restoration of the parish constantly helps philanthropist - businessman Yakov Petrovich Nevelev. By his efforts, the Church gained domes and a bell tower. This year they were crowned with the crosses, and to the Holy Trinity - the patronal feast - bells were cast.

Over the past years the building of the Church has changed. Changed for the better. The citizens are happy that this is happening. With the restoration of the temple Aramil gained a completely different view - Golden crosses, the steeples, cupolas... even Though there is still much work to put to Holy Trinity Church was the same Church, as in the old days.

But now it became the decoration of the city, and every year it is becoming more and more parishioners.
