Bogoslovskiy Cathedral in Karpinsk
The monument of architecture of Federal value Bogoslovskiy (Vvedenskiy) Cathedral, built in the style of the so-called "Urals Baroque". In 1767 with the blessing of the Metropolitan of Tobolsk and Siberia Paul was laid the Foundation of a two-storey two-altar Cathedral. The lower temple was sanctified in 1771 in honor of the feast of the entry into the temple of the Most Holy mother of God. The upper Church of the Cathedral built in the name of St. Apostle and Evangelist John the theologian, consecrated in 1776 by Archimandrite Tihon of Verkhoturskiy Nikolaevskiy monastery. After the finishing of building in 1776, the temple was called Bogoslovskiy. The plant was also named Bogoslovskiy.
