In five kilometers from the village Cheremisskaya is situated the village Koltashi - the birthplace of the famous Ural mine-worker Zverev Danila Kondratyevich, prototype of Danila-master from tales of P. Bazhov.

According to one version, the village was founded in 1710 on the banks of the river Rezh by brothers Koktashevi- settlers from the Perm region. "Kok-Tash" means "Blue stone"and the rock with that name is situated downstream of the river. In spring the river steeped in the blossoming cherry tree, in summer, in the pine forest surrounding the village from all sides, you can find berries and mushrooms. The landmark of Koltashi is rock in the form of a hedgehog, drinking water from the river, which locals affectionately called "Kameshek". "Hedgehog -Sstone" is situated near the village not far from the confluence to Rezh of small river Polozhiha, which at one time local miners mined gold, and D.K. Zverev found "semi-precious stones".

Quiet, clean air, picturesque nature of a village, situated away from the main roads in ecologically safe place, attracted tourists from old times. The village is situated the Complex center of tourism and rest "Russkaya derevnya" (a contact zoo, the organization of Hiking and skiing tours to the rocks, tours on all-terrain vehicles, fishing, Snowmobiling and bikes, rafting to Rezh on 1-3 days).
