Historical Museum of Artyomovskiy

Historical Museum of Artyomovskiy was founded in 1967,and opened for visitors in two years. Since 1978 started the second important stage in the life of the Museum - its revival. Collecting funds and the organization of a new historical exposition, which opened in 1982was made by Martynova Olga Markovna (now Honorary citizen of the city of Artemovskiy, author of several history books).

In 1984 the Museum was highly appreciated and the title "national" was given to the museum . In January 1996 new exhibition hall with an area of 111 square meters opened in the Museum . It is allowed to bring cultural and educational activities of the Museum to a new level, and the Museum began to play the role of historical-cultural centre.

Historical exposition consists of the following sections:

- "Living history" - a collection of furniture in the modern style of the XIX-XX centuries: buffet, decorated with carvings witn collection of ancient pocelain; sofa, stretched to crocodile leathe; a bookcase with the pre-revolutionary publications; ladies ' dressing table; card table; wall clocks firm "Brothers Tchetunovy"; the mirror in a carved frame;

- "The civil war in Egorshino: red and white" - pre-revolutionary and revolutionary periods, the civil war, defense f station Egorshino, operational regiment "Krsaniye Orly", Kamyshlovskogo regiment of the Soviet history of the 1920s-30s, comrade Artem - Soviet statesman, whose name is called the city;

- "In the work, and in the battle. Artemovtsi in the rear and on the fronts of the great Patriotic war" - - heroes of the Soviet Union, and full cavalier of the order of Glory, military-sanitary train № 227, enterprises rear, the "Temple of memory" of A.N. Kargapolova;

- "Marine glory covered..." - participant of the Peterhof landing P.L. Dobrynin and hydrophone operator submarine K-21" A.A. Smetanin, models of modern military and old sailing ships, marine military form, authentic things from the ship: direction finder, means of communication, bell;

- "Treasures of the earth"- a collection of minerals and fossils of ancient animals (mammoth), fossils (egg of a dinosaur, sea lilies), photo of nature monuments Artemovskiy region.

The art salon is working in the museum.
