Local Lore Museum of Sysert

Local lore museum of Sysert located in the historical part of the city. It is housed in the building of the main office of Sysert mining district, which is built on the initiative of its owner A.F. Turchanov in 1779, as evidenced by a memorial plate on the building.

The exposition of the Museum, opened in 1969, reflects the history of Sysert from its beginnings to the present day. The Museum is open five exhibition halls, each of which displays an epoch of history.

In the permanent exhibition of products of Sysert iron and Sysert porcelain factories, personal things of P.P. Bazhov.
