The dam of the city pond in Kamensk-Uralskiy

The dam, built primarily to supple the Kamenskiy plant with the energy of water, it firmly linked the industrial zone on the left bank and residential area on the right Bank of Kamenka. During the XVIII century the dam was rebuilt several times after each powerful flood that completety destroyed it. As a result the right Bank of the Kamenka river below the dam has been strengthened by crushed stone. Preserved Retaining wall is an example of technical strengthening of the XVIII century.
