The sign "the Border of Europe and Asia" in Pervouralsk
On 15 may 1837 through Vasilyevo-Shaitanskiy plant proceeded the heir to the throne, the future Alexander II, accompanied with his mentor the poet Vasily Zhukovsky. In memory of this event, Mining authorities established on the Sibirskiy tract, on the mountain Berezovaya, marble obelisk - border sign "Europe - Asia". Gradually, the sign had fallen into decay and in the XX century, at the same place, was built a new memorial sign. It looks like its predecessor. Sign installed on the old Moskovskiy tract, on the outskirts from Pervouralsk in the direction of Ekaterinburg.
