Obelisk "the Border of Europe and Asia” in village Kurganovo

Set on 15 June 1986 on the border between Europe and Asia on the route Ekaterinburg-Polevskoy near the village Kurganovo, in the year of 250th anniversary of scientific substantiation of the border between Europe and Asia, the Russian statesman of the XVIII century V.N. Tatischev. The monument is made of grey and pink marble. The post ends with a metal chisel-shaped spire, surrounded by chains.
