Transfiguration chapel in Polevskoye

The first chapel was built of wood in 1839 on the territory of STZ in honor of his 100th anniversary. After almost 50 years because of decay it was dismantled. The decision to build a new chapel was taken before the celebration of the 900th anniversary of the christianization of Russia in 1888. In the early 30-ies of XX century the chapel was demolished. In the beginning of XXI century it was reconstructed according to old photos and on 13 July 2001, the Archbishop of Ekaterinburg and Vikentiy of Verkhotourye consecrated rebuilt the sanctuary. Today it is the decoration of the plant.
