The historical Museum in Polevskoy

Branch of GBUK SO "Sverdlovsk regional Museum".

In a brick one-storey building in the XVIII century was situated Zemskoye male school, now there is the city historical Museum.

Sections of the exposition dedicated to the history of Polevskoy, the life and works of the famous Ural writer P.P. Bazhov, the great Patriotic war. In the museum presented collection of minerals Polevskoy district, objects, found during excavations in the Dumnaya mount: bird-like image, artifacts from places of worship on mount Azov, ancient toolsand lifestyle and much more.

The Museum building is a monument of architecture of local (municipal) significance.
